An amazing experience

"MovingOn Courses is the best option if you really want to improve your English. They offer traditional lessons in the morning and the staff is also focused on all students speaking English all day, so you will get a great performance of your stay. At the same time, you will enjoy a kind treatment and fun activities, as well as the good and healthy Sonia's cooking. The climate is mild and the location is quiet, and have also some typical English pubs where you can taste a good beer".

Intensive English Course

Very effective intensive English course in a familiar and cozy atmosphere. I spent one week in Bangor (Northern Ireland) with Sonia, Gavin and their excellent team of teachers. 100% immersion in the language, great return, plenty of opportunities to practice and learn in a pleasant and stimulating environment

Moving on Courses

A good option to really learn English, immersion is all the time. Unlike other academies that these 4 or 5 hours and then you disconnect, in this case, even daily work are learning situations.

Great immersion course

First of all I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you.

Before I decided to attend this immersion course I had expected really intensive English lessons but still, it really exceeded my expectations. It was truly an immersion course, about 12 hours of English a day. Morning lessons were in small groups, in my case it was 2 students a group. All lessons were focused on parts that we wanted to improve. Afternoon activities were a bit less formal English classes, such as study trips or some entertainment activities, for example bingo, however always focused on English. We always had great discussions during lunch and dinner, and again these discussions were very friendly and relaxed English lessons. Accommodation was great, a very comfortable room with private bathroom. Bangor is a picturesque town on Irish coast near Belfast. It was really easy to get there, 20 minutes from airport.

I highly recommend this immersion course to everyone who wants to improve their English communication skills quickly. I’m writing this review from a 2 weeks perspective after the course, and I see that this course really helped me. I speak much better English and I feel more confident in conversations , especially at work.

I want to say a big thank you to Sonia and Gavin for hospitality, to Karen and Chris for great lessons, and special thanks to Sonia for wonderful food.

Great Course and incredible experience!

After 3 weeks at MovingOnCourses I feel my english has improved a lot.
This is a very FULL IMMERSION english course ---- 100% English from morning to night. Staying all together in this fantastic guesthouse with the teachers and the students helped me a lot to became more confident with my speaking and learning.

Living there was in general very lovely and frendly, like a Family!! Teachers are all day long with the students so this is a plus to practice english also after the morning's lessons. I'm going to come back for sure!

At the and I really suggest the course!!!

Immersion English 100%

I was looking for an intensive English course, and really, I found more than this in Moving On Courses. The teachers challenge you and help you to have a very nice experience with a total immersion in English. In the house, you feel as at home. The town is a very nice coast place, full of chances to expend you little free time. And the most important, the teachers encourage you all time to improve your English in an amazing atmosphere.

Expectations fullfilled... and even more

Before deciding which English course to choose, I had read the comments posted by previous students who visited MovingonCourses Academy. Furthermore, I have personal feedback from a friend who also visited the academy last year… and, after staying one week there I could check that all of them were truth! The course is really 100% in English; you do not speak a single word in your native language except when phoning home. The atmosphere between students and between students and staff was always friendly; indeed, I had the opportunity to meet great people with which I had fun and also received their support during a couple of days in which my health was not 100% fine. I found out perfectly balanced the time allocated to classes and evening activities, thus having time both for improving grammar and syntax, as well as conversation and listening. Besides the classes, the teachers accompanied us to visit relevant places both in Bangor and Belfast, as well to a movie, bingo, pubs and a concert of Red Hot Chilli PIPERS!!. So you were at all time with your brain working in English. I would like to thank Gavin, Sonia, Chris and Karen for their effort to make the week I stayed at the Academy really worthwhile.

Great experience for fair price

Friendly and professional teachers, interesting study trips, fantastic home-made meals, comfortable accomodation. I highly value small classes - teachers tailor the lessons to your needs. Study trips were well prepared, always interesting, ending in a cosy café where we discussed what we had learnt.:) Students were different nationalities, age (24-65) and proffessions - it was great to meet interesting people! Teachers actually available 12 hrs a day (hats off, Karen, for your effort!!) Sonia, our host, is a really great cook - I will never forget her Irish stew :). Comfortable rooms and all facilities (washing mashine etc.). I felt very welcome. Thank you, Sonia and Gavin, for your hospitality, you do a great job!!
