• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Preparation
IELTS course (7 hours/week/8 weeks) provides students with practical training of the four language skills (i.e. listening, speaking, reading, writing) tested on the International English Language Testing System exam. During the course, students practice the tested skills through in-class activities, writing assignments, and weekly tests. They also learn test-taking strategies while their progress is closely monitored and given extra attention where necessary.

The EAP Program is a full-time (20 hours/week/15 weeks) four-level program in which students receive practical instruction in each of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing within academic context. It is designed for those students who are either concurrently pursuing their post-secondary studies or are planning to join such. The program itself reinforces students’ critical thinking and the language skills that are essential for academic success.

• EBP (English for Business Purposes)
EBP is a single-level (7 hours/week/15 weeks) course which focuses on the language skills that will help students succeed in the modern Canadian workplace. During the course, students receive instruction in all language skills with particular emphasis on listening and speaking, yet many opportunities for reading and writing. English for Business Purposes is designed to address students’ language needs in business situations, build their confidence and fluency when socializing, making phone calls, giving presentations, taking part in meetings, and negotiating. Students are also advised on job search, interview preparation as well as résumé and cover letter writing.
