Sun Pacific College is located along a beautiful, tropical beach just north of the city of Cairns in Queensland, Australia. With a population of 145,000, Cairns is a vibrant city of diverse nationalities and is popular with domestic and international tourists who are attracted to the nearby World Heritage listed rainforests and Great Barrier Reef. The Sun Pacific College campus is a purpose-built international college campus at Kewarra Beach. Students studying at this campus have the benefit of many recreational facilities, including free use of our 25 m heated swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, golf putting green, modern computer facilities and a gym. Other facilities include spacious classrooms, a large office/reception area, recreation/common areas and free use of the student kitchen. Accommodation options include living on campus in our newly renovated student dormitories, or nearby with a local hot family. Meals are provided every day of the week for residential students It is an ideal place to study and experience the best that tropical Far North Queensland has to offer. This campus is within walking distance of the beach, local shops and transport links.. Public transport is conveniently close to the college and a shuttle-bus into the city operates for college students every weekend.

When I came to Australia, I couldn't speak at all but after few weeks I was able to understand and speak. It's a school where the staff take care of the student in the goal that they leave with a better English. It's situated in an tropical environment which is really nice and there is all facilities and activities that you can imagine (mini golf, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, barbecue area, tennis court, basket court...) This school is made for people who really want to learn English and if it's to an professional goal, you will learn pronunciation, specific vocabulary and complex part of the language. If you are backpacker you have also some helps (resume, find a job, TFN...) I really enjoyed this life style because I met many good people and could learn about our different culture (French, Italian, Korean, Japanese...) and it was possible because of this school. I recommend you so much this school and even if the flight ticket is more expensive it's still the best deal in Australia.

I really recommend this school because it's a nice place to study. In fact, teachers are really good and make you improve your English really fast . Not only teachers, all the staff helps you in this goal because everybody speaks English and you can't speak your own language. In the school site, you can practice mini golf, basketball, you can even enjoy the swimming pool or go to the beach.
To me , if you really want to learn English, it's the best place because everything makes you feel good!

Quand je suis arrivé à SPC, j'ai tout de suite été enchanté par l'infrastructure, les dortoirs étaient neufs, il y avait un terrain de basket, tennis, piscine, salle de sport... Ensuite, je me suis rapidement fait des amis, tout les monde a été très accueillant, l'ambiance était géniale, et maintenant que j'ai quitté SPC je la regrette et j'en suis un peu triste. Ce fut pour moi comme une colonie de vacances, avec des règles ("english only") mais je m'y suis bien amusé. Je suis resté un mois et je pense avoir amélioré mon anglais, même si mon accent reste terrible. Je garde un super souvenir de SPC, i love you staff, teachers, my friends. Thanks for all, i will never forget. Study hard but lot of fun and friends
