The School

KAPITO is located in Münster because the German spoken here is accent-free. The guiding principle of our school is that the student always comes first. From your very first day until the presentation of the final certificate, we are committed to ensuring that your stay in Münster is a success.
On average, the courses are attended by 80 to 120 students, with 200 in summer. Some students stay for 2 or 3 weeks, many for 3 to 6 months, and a few even stay for up to a year, for instance to prepare for a university course in Germany. For more than 20 years now, the focus of our work has been on German courses, though we also offer other languages in the evening, e.g. in preparation for the TOEFL examination. The school is located in the middle of town and has large, bright classrooms, which are also available as a meeting place for the students after class. We attach very great importance to personal contact with our students - and the teachers and school management always have time to talk. Self-study rooms with textbooks and computers with Internet access can be used free of charge. A member of staff is always on hand in the afternoons to provide learning and homework support. Our team of teachers consists of specially trained native speakers, all with a university degree and many years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language.

University Preparation Course (24 lessons per week)

In our university preparation course, we prepare participants for the university entrance language examinations TestDaF and DSH. The course comprises a basic module (beginners) and an advanced module (non-beginners).

Basic module

24 weeks, for absolute beginners
Courses begin on 04.01., 04.04., 01.08., 29.08.
Content: levels A1, A2 and B1
Duration: 24 weeks, altogether 576 tuition periods (24 per week + learning support)
Course goal: The module ends with the completion of level B1

Advanced level

12 weeks, for students with German proficiency enabling them to start level B2 (i.e. the level on completion of the basic module)
Content: levels B2 und C1, examination training
Duration: 12 weeks, altogether 288 tuition periods (24 per week + learning support)
Course goal: The module ends with attainment of the DSH/TestDaF level

Prüfungskurs B2/C1 für Mediziner (6 - 10 Wochenstunden)

Sie sind Arzt und verfügen über gute Deutschkenntnisse. Um in Deutschland zugelassen zu werden, möchten Sie den erforderlichen Sprachnachweis erwerben.

In unserem Vorbereitungskurs lernen Sie unter anderem:
- Fachlexik für den Arbeitsalltag in Klinik und Praxis
- Kommunikation in den Arbeitsfeldern Anamnese, Körperliche Untersuchung, Fallvorstellung
- Arztbriefe zu verstehen und zu verfassen
- Patientengespräche zu führen etc.
Außerdem werden mit Hilfe von Modellprüfungen einzelne Prüfungssituationen durchgespielt.
