During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. Classes cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading and writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including role-plays, authentic materials, newspapers, magazines, YouTube and other internet content.
LSI offers 24 or 30 lesson options per week on our Intensive courses. All our intensive courses follow the General 20 course in the morning (lessons 1–4). During the afternoon lessons (lessons 5–6) there are a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests.
Intensive 24 afternoon lessons run twice weekly whereas Intensive 30 runs every afternoon. Please check the relevant school page to see which lesson options and electives are offered at that school.

Academic English combines general English with a focus on key academic skills and exam English. The programme includes regular, focussed grammar and vocabulary reviews, which allows students to target their individual language needs while developing their academic reading and writing skills. This is all supported by specialised, targeted, online resources through our online learning system, E-LSI.

English is the international language of business. We have therefore developed a special, flexible, 12 module course designed to rapidly improve your business communication skills.
Every 12 weeks, we recycle the modules with a fresh syllabus. This means students who wish to study longer and consolidate and expand their knowledge of a particular area, can do so without repeating any material.

Studying at LSI Brisbane was one of the best experiences of my life. I met wonderful people from around the world, some of them are friends that I still have. The teachers were great, very pacient, kind and caring who guided me throughout my path of learning English. The facilites are very well located, near to everything you need (banks, foodcourts, supermarkets, restaurants and places where you can find a job).

The school is located in the heart of Brissy, so that my friends and I spend our lunch breaks in the botanical garden. The school was a perfect start for me as an Demi-Pair to find friends, with whom I am still in contact. LSI Brisbane was a great experience and I would always do it again.

The teacher's quality is good and they try to make the students socialize via activities. But very few student wanna take part in the activity. Maybe because the school wasn't multi-national, I mean there were a few nationalities students and usually they hang out with the same nationality;s people.I don't recommend if you wanna enjoy student's life and make friends from all over the world.
