Alexanders College has over 40 years of experience in education. It is situated on a beautiful 120-acre campus on the Suffolk coast. As an independent residential college, we welcome boys and girls aged 11 to 18 years, from the UK and all over the world. Students benefit from studying the highly regarded National Curriculum of England and Wales, leading to GCSE/iGCSE and A Level qualifications, giving them an advantage when applying to university. Alexanders College also offers an English Language Preparation programme for younger students or those whose English requires additional support. This course helps students cross the bridge to studying in English, in many cases without having to spend an additional school year to do so.
We have designed learning at Alexanders College to achieve the academic results required for university entrance. In line with expectations from the best universities and businesses we emphasise the development of the whole student, drawing on their abilities and interests. In this way, students develop confidence and understand the value of teamwork, respect and responsibility.

At Alexanders College, we run English Plus and English 4 Exams courses for students aged 11 to 17. These run for a minimum of two weeks. English Plus is 15 hours per week with 6-9 hours of additional activities, including water sports, horse riding, football, tennis, golf, art, music, dance or multi-activities: a selection of arts options and sports including basketball, orienteering, volleyball and badminton.
English 4 Exams is preparation for a specific examination including KET ,FCE, CAE and IELTS. Students study for 21 hours per week, with a maximum of 8 students to a class. Students also join multi-activities for three hours per week.
