We do not offer a typical course or even an intensive course with a few extra hours per week. With these options you inevitably speak your native language in your free time.
We offer TOTAL IMMERSION WITH 100% ENGLISH GUARANTEED.
You live with us and another teacher in our house/guesthouse in Bangor, near Belfast, Northern Ireland.
We, the owners, Gavin and Sonia, are professional teachers but additional teachers come to our house/guesthouse to teach.
This means we have the energy to offer you
12+ hours per day WITH TEACHERS AND MAX 4 STUDENTS PER TEACHER.

Really satisfying experience. Totally immersive course where you can only speak English but in a friendly atmosphere with very small groups. I was only there for 1 week but it was very intense and useful with fun speaking classes and study trips with Sonia. I hope to repeat very soon!

Ho trovato per caso questo corso navigando in internet, leggendo le recensioni sembrava diverso dai soliti ed ho deciso di provare. Posso dire che ha soddisfatto appieno le mie aspettative. Gli insegnanti sono molto preparati e soprattutto pazienti perché disposti a correggerti mille volte (anche sugli stessi errori). Con la giusta dose di volontà e dedizione i risultati sono veramente incredibili perché con loro si parla inglese 12 ore al giorno.

The was like a big family, we spoke English all the time. We had all the meals together, some classes one to one, others in group. The house und rooms are big and beautiful. The host are teachers too and very friendly.

I took English classes in Moving on Courses with my teenage daughter for one week.
I can assure you that my child was enjoying stay in this academia and it change her approach to use of English language to more practical. She has told me a lot of times, that she wish her education would be organized this way: only one thing at a time, full immersion, friendly atmosphere and no grades (yes, child can learn something without grades, eureka!).
Honestly, I recommend this academia for young learners too.

They offer traditional lessons in the morning and the staff is also focused on all students speaking English all day, so you will get a great performance of your stay. At the same time, you will enjoy a kind treatment and fun activities, as well as the good and healthy Sonia's cooking. The climate is mild and the location is quiet, and have also some typical English pubs where you can taste a good beer".

After 3 weeks at MovingOnCourses I feel my english has improved a lot.
This is a very FULL IMMERSION english course ---- 100% English from morning to night. Staying all together in this fantastic guesthouse with the teachers and the students helped me a lot to became more confident with my speaking and learning.
Living there was in general very lovely and frendly, like a Family!! Teachers are all day long with the students so this is a plus to practice english also after the morning's lessons. I'm going to come back for sure!

I was looking for an intensive English course, and really, I found more than this in Moving On Courses. The teachers challenge you and help you to have a very nice experience with a total immersion in English. In the house, you feel as at home. The town is a very nice coast place, full of chances to expend you little free time. And the most important, the teachers encourage you all time to improve your English in an amazing atmosphere.

Friendly and professional teachers, interesting study trips, fantastic home-made meals, comfortable accomodation. I highly value small classes - teachers tailor the lessons to your needs. Study trips were well prepared, always interesting, ending in a cosy café where we discussed what we had learnt.:) Students were different nationalities, age (24-65) and proffessions - it was great to meet interesting people! Teachers actually available 12 hrs a day (hats off, Karen, for your effort!!) Sonia, our host, is a really great cook - I will never forget her Irish stew :). Comfortable rooms and all facilities (washing mashine etc.). I felt very welcome. Thank you, Sonia and Gavin, for your hospitality, you do a great job!!
