We first opened our doors in 1995 and have successfully taught thousands of people from all over the world to speak English. Over the years Cape Studies has created a professional, yet friendly atmosphere for our students. This sets us apart. We love our city and want to share it with you! This course is designed to enable you to communicate effectively in everyday situations. The focus is on grammar and vocabulary, speaking and pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and comprehension skills. The groups are small, which allows for individual attention and students are able to participate actively in class.

Cape Studies offers 10-week preparation courses for FCE (First Certificate in English), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) and CPE (Cambridge Proficiency Exam) exams. These are intensive preparation courses providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to pass the examinations. The exams are internationally recognised. Students participate in General English classes in the morning and are given specific examination training in the afternoon.
Cape Studies offers 4 -8 weeks preparation courses for TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication), measures English proficiency for the global workplace. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), evaluates English proficiency for those pursing academic studies. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) assesses the language ability of candidates who needs to study or work where English is used. These are intensive preparation courses providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to pass the examinations. The exams are internationally recognised. Students participate in General English classes in the morning and are given specific examination training in the afternoon through private lessons.

Ich war Anfang im Juni bei Cape Studies und bin sehr begeistert. Ein kompetentes, erfahrenes und hochmotiviertes Team kümmerte sich liebevoll um jeden einzelnen Teilnehmer. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit mit vielen tollen Menschen. Ich habe viel gelernt und lernte die südafrikanische Kultur und die Herzlichkeit ihrer Menschen kennen und schätzen. Ein wunderbarer Ort um neue Erfahrungen und Begegnungen zu sammeln. Unterkunft und Verpflegung waren hervorragend. Ich habe mit Lehrern und Freunden, die ich dort kennenlernen durfte bis heute engen Kontakt. Wer nicht nur eine Sprachschule sucht, sondern nette, offene, tolerante und verbindliche Menschen kennenlernen möchte, dem kann ich Cape Studies ans Herz legen. Its a wonderful school, very engaged teachers and admin. Brian, client care - he is a bit shy. Renate, head of school is going out of her way to keep up the high standards. The teachers are fantastic - location and set up of Cape Studies is perfect - its the total package

Where should I start... I was there to graduate my FCE in Cape Town and Cape Studies had prepared me. It was such an amazing time, that I don´t have words for it! I was pleased to go to school, not only because the fantastic and qualified teacher, but also because those lovely people I have met there! I made so many friends... And I have still contact with them!!!
It was an incredibly experience! I can truly recommend Cape Studies! They are doing a really great job!
