The Dublin Cultural Institute has been providing top-quality English language training since 2004. We are a small, boutique school in the heart of Dublin, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where students of any nationality will feel at home.
Our 7 classrooms are bright and spacious, with views across the River Liffey and Dublin's main shopping area, O'Connell Street. We are located just minutes walk from all the major sights and attractions of Dublin city centre, and surrounded by the eclectic mix of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops which make Dublin such a vibrant and exciting city in which to live and study.
Our teachers are all native English speakers and educated to degree level, and with our average class size of only 11 students, they are able to give every student a high degree of attention and support to help them maximise their language development.
English language classes are tailored for levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced. We also offer Exam Preparation classes for the Cambridge Exams and IELTS and Business English courses. We offer a wide range of courses and many students who graduate from the Institute go on to pursue third level education at different colleges and universities in Ireland.

GENERAL ENGLISH
Dublin Cultural Institute offers a wide range of courses at various levels to suit each student's individual needs. All students are tested before the start of the course. The level test gives us an idea of the student’s proficiency in English. The student will be then placed in a class suitable for his/her level. Students are advised to stay in the same level for a period of time before they are able to move up to a higher level. When a student is ready to move up to the next level he/she will be advised to take a written and an oral exam. Should the student be successful in both assignments he/she will be able to move up to the next level. On successful completion of the course of studies students will be awarded a school certificate.

EXAM PREPARATION COURSES
It is always possible for students to demonstrate their level of English through an internationally recognised EFL qualification. That is the reason why we offer a range of international EFL examinations for all levels from intermediate to proficiency and preparation courses for the Cambridge Exams and IELTS. These courses are scheduled regularly throughout the year. At the moment we offer both full and part-time preparation courses for the Cambridge Exams. The Cambridge Exams are the world's leading range of certificates for learners of English. Each year they are taken by over 2 million people in 130 countries. The Cambridge ESOL examinations are recognised by thousands of employers, universities & colleges, professional bodies and ministry & government organizations throughout the world . Furthermore if students wish to pursue third level education in an English-speaking country they are usually required to hold a Cambridge qualification as a proof of competence in the English language .

Dublin Cultural Institute is a really amazing school, the teacher always help you with your doubts and have a good technique for teaching and I can improve my english each day. Also the activities with my classmates are good because we can enjoy the time together. I had a wonderful time in this amazing college, I loved it, the teachers, and all the staff are very kind and friendly, for me it was the best college I have ever gone been in Ireland, I felt motivated, and I learnt a lot, also the small group in the room makes me feel like I was in a personalized class. For me it is highly recommended.

the school is absolutely wonderful, the teachers are helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my time here, the activities were fun too. The location is perfect, right in the city centre. I've learned a lot in my time here.

I did one month of English intensive course in this school and it was amazing. I loved this experience. The school has a good location and a lovely atmosphere. The teachers are so good also and I could improve my English easily.

My time in DCI was amazing.The school is in the heart of the city center and you can go to any touristic place just by walking.The classes are not crowded-7 people most-and that's awesome!You really get one on one time with the teachers and the lessons feel more like a gathering of friends.And the best part is the teachers for sure. Aonghus and Ian are really the best teachers you can get out there.They are very friendly,funny and capable teachers and they make coming to the school a blast! I learnt quite a lot from them.Thank you DCI for making my 4 weeks in Dublin very memorable!

My experience in DCI was really good since the first day. The teachers are so close to the students and they give personal attention to everyone of them. The classrooms are for small groups, so that way you will have the opportunity to practice your speaking much more .Also, being in small groups is an advantage because they will listen to any of your doubts and if one day you want to learn about and specific topic is not a problem helping you.
Furthermore, the location of the school is a benefit if you want to explore the streets of Dublin because is right in the city centre and near the most symbolic places to visit. Besides that, the atmosphere in the school with the students and the teachers is very enjoyable and you will feel like home.
