Since 1976, our school has been training international students from around the globe, as well as local students. Our goals are to prepare students and give them the tools they need to succeed in today’s highly competitive world.
We treat each and every student with humanity and understanding. Students from abroad are especially important to us. We understand the stress that comes with learning in another country, far from their families and friends. We try as much as possible to make international students enjoy their stay, help them settle in their new surroundings as soon as possible, quickly make new friends, and have great, unforgettable experiences that they will share with family and friends upon their return. We employee highly qualified and competent teachers who work hard to help our students achieve their goal of learning a new language.
Canada College’s Department of Modern Languages offers English as a Second Language (ESL) and French as a Second Language (FSL) as its major language programs. Besides the main ESL and FSL programs, the school offers instruction in a number of other languages including German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, and Persian.
The study of another language broadens an individual’s point of view. Students not only progress linguistically – advancing their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills – but also gain a broad awareness of other cultures. Through interaction with fellow students from different parts of the world, students expand their horizons and become global citizens.
The staff work hard and are committed to ensuring a positive language learning experience for each student – extending from pleasant classrooms to extracurricular activities that take students out into the real world to practice their language skills.

ESL English
Advance your English in the morning, evening or on our weekend classes in full time or part time basis. Our methodology that has been proven over and over and for many years will help you enrich your English language proficiency and academic skills and form your self-assurance. Our ESL program is an in-depth study in core language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) at ten levels.
