City: Pamplona is situated in the north of Spain. It is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls, a festival that takes place in July every year, for Hemingway (Fiesta-The sun also rises) and it is part of the Pilgrim`s Way to Santiago. It is a safe and small city. School: It is located in one of the most emblematic buildings of Pamplona surrounded by a park which overlooks the old walls of the city and only 5 minutes by foot from the centre of the city. There is a café and a restaurant in the same building where our students can have lunch for reduced prices. The school has got Wi-Fi. Courses: General Spanish, Business Spanish, Spanish for Medicine and the Health Industry and Spanish for Engineers; 50+; Internship programmes; Spanish and Cooking; Spanish and San Fermin. The groups are small with the maximum number being 8 students per class for the general Spanish lessons whereas the business classes will be in small groups or one-to-one. We believe that languages are learnt through practice so from day one the students are encouraged to use their Spanish. We also organise Summer Camps for juniors from 12 to 17 years old. Accommodation for the juniors is residential whereas the adults can choose between family stay and flat sharing.

The course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 13:15 from Monday to Friday. However should the circumstances demand it PLSI reserves the right to change the times of the courses and even to move the courses to the evening.
The general courses begin every Monday during the year except for the complete beginners whose courses begin on the first and third Monday of each month.
The lessons are 55 minutes long and take place from Monday to Friday.
The students are grouped according to their level of Spanish, from complete beginners to Superior level.
The groups have a maximum number of 10 students, 4 being the minimum number (if there is only one, two or three students in a group, PLSI reserves the right to reduce the number of lessons per week).
At PLSI the students are the centre of the learning process. The main aim of the lessons is to develop the communicative skills of the students. To achieve this the teachers at PLSI use material from varied sources, such as textbooks, material from the press, tv, Internet, etc.

In 2015 there will be a DELE exam for each level of the European framework: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

It consists of a four-week course or an eight-week course of 25 lessons per week just before the official dates of the exams; from 9:00 to 14:15 Monday to Friday. Students have 2 daily lessons of general Spanish plus 3 daily lessons dedicated to aspects specifically related to the exams. Consult us to know the exact dates for our DELE courses.

This course has been specially designed for people in the Business area who want to acquire the vocabulary and the expressions which are usual in the different areas related to their career choice. In order to participate actively in this course the students should have at least an intermediate level (B1) of Spanish.
