The Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre is a small specialist school situated in a small seaside town about two and a half hours from Auckland. We teach communicative English in small classes (10 students maximum) If we have 50 students the school is full. We believe strongly in "Learning by Doing" and have a great Activity Program that takes full advantage of our unique location. The school is set in an old villa right on the river and only a short walk from the town centre.

Our General Course offers students morning classroom lesson from 9 – 12 noon plus afternoon lessons from 1.15 – 2.45 pm, Monday to Thursday.
In morning class there is a focus on developing English skills: reading, writing listening, speaking and grammar with a strong emphasis on communicative skills.
In afternoon classes students collaborate with each other and their teacher in choosing topics that interest them to motivate their learning process. Any of the above skills may be worked on (except grammar). This may include an outing around Whtianga to practise real English in context.
Morning Lesson times 9 am - 12 noon - Monday - Friday
Afternoon Lesson times 1.15 pm - 3.45 pm Monday - Friday
