This is a great place to learn Spanish

I just finished three weeks of immersion Spanish at the Cervantes school in Malaga. I first contacted Cervantes by email in January after doing some on-line searching for a school in Spain. From the first contact, I was treated with respect and courtesy. Michele helped me develop an appropriate curriculum, arranged for school dates, and even arranged for a wonderful apartment. He and the staff handled all the payments and coordinated the entire process, from first contact to the last day of classes. I couldn't have asked for a more personable and competent staff to lead me through the process.
I am not a seasoned traveler, but Cervantes made it easy. When I arrived at the school, I was very pleased to find a happy, family atmosphere: the staff and teachers are highly professional and yet warm, friendly, and available anytime you need or want to talk to any of them. It was immersion: nobody is supposed to talk to each other in any language other than Spanish. The teachers are masters of the subjects, masters of mime, and dedicated to the learning process for their students. It is frustrating to know what you want to say and not be able to say it. The teachers are extremely patient, knowing that you will learn by forming it in your mind and speaking it, but it takes time, especially at the beginning. I feel like the teachers are my friends and that they care about my learning.
I only went for 3 weeks and now think 4 weeks would have been twice as valuable as 3. Now I am arranging to go back for 8 more weeks because I really want to speak Spanish, the Cervantes school is an excellent place to do so, Malaga has to be one of the most desirable places on this planet to live or visit, and the warm, family atmosphere of the Cervantes school opens doors for friendships with staff, teachers, and the many wonderful students. While I was there, there were students from Italy, Germany, Russia, China, Poland, England, Canada...many of whom are working on their third or more languages. I am not a scholar, but the learning environment here feeds all who come to learn and at all levels. Even I can learn to speak Spanish in a place like this.

Genial en todos los sentidos

El Instituto Cervantes nunca decepciona.
He hecho varios cursos para formarme como profesora de ELE y todos me han aportado muchísimo. No sólo el hecho de que el tener cualquier título del IC te abre puertas laborales es importante, sino que, además, hoy, como profesora de ELE en un instituto alemán, puedo decir que la formación que recibí en menos de un mes con ellos, me ha servido más y mejor que la inmensa mayoría de las asignaturas del máster de profesorado.
Un especial GRACIAS a Patricia Santervás, una grandísima profesional y la mejor guía que he tenido de cara a las clases de español para extranjeros.

Escuela está ubicada en un barrio tranquilo con la playa bonita y varios restaurantes para disfrutar la comida típica de Málaga.
Los profesores son muy amables y me ayudaron a obtener DELE B2. Además de idioma,Podía aprender las culturas distintas de otros estudiantes extranjeros .

Sehr gute Schule in schöner Angenehmer Umgebung. Die Unterkunft war auch Super, ich habe 2 min zum Strand gebraucht. Sehr zu Empfehlen! Mir ist in der einen Woche nichts negatives aufgefallen.

Cervantes en Màlaga

La escuela Cervantes en Málaga ofrece excelentes cursos para estudiantes de diferentes edades. Soy una profesora de arte. Durante las clases conocí a profesores y estudiantes de otros países que deseaban mejorar sus conocimientos de la lengua española. Ponerse en contacto con ellos me permitió practicar el idioma lo mas posible y vivir una experiencia única de intercambio con personas de diferentes culturas.

Goed Spaans leren

Via deze manier wil ik duidelijk maken dat Cervantes in Málaga echt een rustige familieschool is. Hier kom je mensen tegen die Spaans willen leren.
Het is echt een familieschool, iedereen kent elkaar en het personeel is heel attent.
Zelf doe ik ik er al een 20 jaar over om Spaans te leren, maar hier heb ik meer geleerd in 5 weken tijd. Natuurlijk kende ik al veel woorden. Maar om op een overzichtelijke manier de gramatica te leren, is het echt heel goed hier.
De docenten weten waar ze mee bezig zijn. Niet alleen het Spaans natuurlijk, maar vooral de manier van uitleggen.

Nog twee dingen die ik wil noemen zijn;
De activiteiten bv. er worden leuke kleinschalige dingen georganiseerd, zo kan je veel Spaan oefenen en leuke dingen zien en nieuwe mensen ontmoeten.
Een ander punt is de service van de school, je voelt je echt thuis, ze kunnen veel voor je regelen. Ze zijn heel attent.

Mocht je wat willen eten, neem gerust me mij contact op via FB alleen vragen in het Spaans worden beantwoord, maakt niet uit welk niveau....

I had an amazing week at Cervantes and learned so much. It was fantastic that we were not allowed to speak English as we were totally immersed in the language and learned so much. Our teacher Lydia was fun, enthusiastic and very energetic and made classtime fun. The ofice staff were extremely helpful in every way and the accomodation was excellent only 5 minute walk to a beautiful quiet beach.
