Some people think it takes a lot of money to learn a language. But the truth is there a lot of free resources online that you can use any time you like. One of these resources are YouTube videos for learning languages. Why is it a good idea? Because it’s a fun and unconventional way to learn languages as opposed to learning from a textbook. There is a big variety and not just different languages but also different topics. Below you will find a selection of videos for learning languages with YouTube.
Spanish with Rocio
This channel is aimed at intermediate learners with previous exposure to the language. The videos are short and to the point.
Professor Jason offers comprehensive lessons of Spanish (also Portuguese). The videos are divided into playlists so you can easily find what you are looking for like grammar, pronunciation or vocabulary, phrases and tasks.
Here you will find a lot of videos about grammar, aimed at more advanced learners of Spanish.
English with Jennifer
This is a great ESL channel. Although it is in English, Jennifer speaks slowly and very clearly so it is easy to understand.
English Jade – Learn English
This is a channel for people who already have had some contact with the English language. The videos include grammar, pronunciation and business English as well as tutorials for example on how to do a job interview on Skype.
James ESL English Lessons
Here you will find playlists on how to learn English, vocabulary, grammar and speaking. James has a very good approach, he encourages students to find their own way to learn English and offers great resources to do so.

Katja can help you in learning German. Her videos include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation but also trivia and even German music.
