That's Mandarin is one of the oldest Chinese language and technology schools in China. With a unique approach to language learning and our own in-house teaching methodologies; we aim to be not only the most experienced, but also one of the best Mandarin schools in China!
We focus on providing the smoothest service and the best teaching experience to all our students; no matter whether they are studying Chinese online with our innovative online language learning system or at one of our Chinese language schools in China.
Founded in Beijing in 2005, That's Mandarin has been growing strong ever since. We now have schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou with plans to open more locations in more cities soon.

We offer Online Mandarin Chinese courses open to beginner and intermediate students of all ages and from all over the world.
We have developed our own online learning platform called Nihao Cafe which enables students preview before classes by playing around different activities, helps students write down all the notes digitally on the platform, and let them review all the learning materials as well as notes after class on their PC or in the APP.

That's Mandarin has been organizing Chinese Summer Camp for over 10 years and every year we welcome over 300 individuals from all over the world.

• Full Camp: Chinese lessons, cultural activities, field trips, 3 meals per day, hotel accommodation, evening and weekend activities

This is my first time to take Chinese course, finally and officially, after many years of living in China. I have been looking for a few Chinese language centres and decided to choose That's Mandarin. My online learning experience with That's Mandarin has been great. Variety of practical topics, organised curriculum with a great selection of videos, text, 汉子 hanzi for writing and the most valued - the connection with my teacher. Teacher Wu Dan (吴丹老师) is an amazing teacher who is very kind, patient, experienced in understanding her students' Chinese language proficiency and needs. She would address those and help you improve nicely at your pace. I would highly recommend any of my friends who want to take Chinese classes to go for That's Mandarin. I'm happy to continue my Chinese learning with 吴丹老师 and That's Mandarin.

I have been studying here for 3 months , mainly in Business Chinese . In this system , I can find a lot of useful information, such as vocabulary and high-level grammar. In September , I plan to take the HSK5 exam, and the teacher has also prepared a lot of exercises for me . I hope I can pass this exam! By the way , there are also many events here, like Mahjong events ! Recommned !

Because of corona I was not able to travel to China. So I choose for the online classes. Kitty thought along with me from the start and offered a good package. My teacher is super, and adapts the study program to my wishes. I am very satisfied and even after three years I don't think about stopping! I hope to visit the school in Milan soon or in China

I really like the school,the teacher and the materials we use in the class , such as the videos and audios.
the website access to student is great, we can review the lessons we have previously studied.The facilities in the building are great, we can enjoy a coffee break in between classes!That’s Mandarin has done wonders for me and my ability in the Chinese language — not only in terms of my raw ability, but for my confidence and willingness to speak the language and use it in my everyday life. The customizable curriculum has helped me and my tutor to hone in on areas that will benefit me most, and has allowed me to delve into vocabulary that suits my interests and career. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the teachers know just how to spark my interest and motivation. Not to mention, the school’s excellent central location in Beijing! I would heartily recommend That’s Mandarin to anyone considering. You will thank yourself later!

That's Mandarin is the place to be if you want to learn Chinese. The school is welcoming and the teachers are really kind.
I started from nothing and after only 3 weeks of intensive classes, I was able to express myself in simple Chinese.

I absolutely enjoy learning Mandarin with That's Mandarin, and for several reasons.
My teacher is awesome (I won't share his name otherwise he will be even more busy and less available!). The platform we are using to learn is ergonomic, well designed and very useful. The facilities are great, welcoming and with a good location. And the staff is very friendly.
I am very happy with the school!

Before starting to learn Chinese with That's Mandarin, I lived in China for almost 4 years, and my Chinese skills had not developed. Now, around 10 months after starting online class with That's Mandarin, I can understand the people around me and I have gotten very comfortable with my Chinese , currently working on HSK3. The teachers including my current teacher Miss Yang are all kind and dedicated to their job. The website is well programmed and uses videos to help teach the language. I have tried other Chinese teachers in the past, but I have never learnt more than with That's Mandarin!

The teachers here are all great.They are very experienced, very friendly, and very engaging with their lessons. I am never bored and every lesson is different and fun. I really feel like I am learning a lot here and I appreciate all of the teacher's efforts to ensure that I am making progress in my studies. I also enjoy the monthly game nights where I have a chance to meet new people that attend the school. Ihighly recommend this school.

While the salient professionalism of That’s mandarin is clear at first glance, their teaching approach feels more like getting help from a friend than the classic corporate take of most language schools. The available online resources are excellent tools for reviewing purposes which I personally find incredibly superior to textbooks. Likewise, the cultural events held on campus are a great addition not only to the learning process but also provide entryway to cultural experiences. All of these added benefits make That’s mandarin more than a language school.

I studied for 3 months at That's Mandarin in Beijing and I really loved it! Group classes are small (about 4/5 people) so everybody has the possibility to understand and, the most important thing, to practice the language! I learnt a lot from this school, I absolutely recommend!
