English Unlimited (EU) is a vibrant, dynamic language school centrally located in the heart of Brisbane City. We have incredible, modern facilities and a caring, friendly, passionate team of staff. Our primary aim is to help our students become proficient communicators in English and prepare them for their adventure as global citizens in a world where English is fast becoming the common language. We do this by developing their ability to communicate in English confidently, through the use of world-class teachers, accredited courses, facilities, exposure to many nationalities and exceptional student care. OUR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our campus was designed by internationally renowned architects, CHROFI (www.chrofi.com) with a simple brief to "create a sanctuary for students in the busy center of Brisbane city". We wanted to provide facilities and a level of comfort to surprise and exceed students' expectations. From the many common areas, where students can study or relax, to the spacious light filled classrooms, we know that this will be a place you won't want to leave. We know that all students have different reasons for studying English.
With this in mind, English Unlimited’s intensive General English course helps you to progress quickly and enjoyably, depending on your level and focus for learning English. Our General English course is designed to provide comprehensive, practical experience in the range of skills and language elements necessary for global lifelong learners needing to socialise and work in an international environment. Information and content is directly related to the learner and their experience; learning is an active, learner-centred, co-operative process. We teach you what you need to learn!
The General English timetable is designed to offer short, interesting, dynamic blocks of English experience. All classes have 2 teachers - one core class teacher who knows you and your strengths/weaknesses well, and an afternoon teacher who will help you develop your English skills with fun, dynamic activities that complement and extend your morning’s work. Our General English classes run from Monday to Thursday so you can spend your Fridays doing extra study with us, by joining our Communicative English Skills or Hospitality Skills classes, taking practice exams, working or travelling. We know you want flexibility… so our General English class is flexibly arranged, for you!
Another option:
Our Hospitality Skills classes is offered to English Unlimited students with an intermediate and above level of English. The classes are currently offered over 5 weeks (every Friday) for a small fee (please enquire). The aim of the Hospitality Skills classes is to prepare a student for work in the hospitality industry as a waiter, bar tender and with practice, a barista. Training and assessment for the classes are provided by our sister college, Australian Pacific College (RTO code: 90396). At the end of the classes, provided you pass your assessments, you will be award a certificate for units of competencies: Prepare and serve espresso coffee (SITHFAB204), Use hygienic practices for food safety (SITXFSA101) and Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB201).

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES
EAP is an intensive academic English course for learners planning to enrol in a university, a Foundation Studies Program, TAFE or Vocational College. The course focuses upon increasing skills for academic study in English, and extending learners' abilities. Course components include Library Research Skill and Introduction to Computer Skills including multimedia, the internet and email for study and research. Learners are assessed through weekly class tests, regular homework and class tasks and extended projects including extended essays, survey reports, literature reviews and oral presentations.

Our Business English class focuses on global real life issues, situations and practical elements which make it the perfect course for students planning on expanding their career internationally.
Our experienced and knowledgeable teachers target specific areas for students to develop and personalise classes to meet different student needs. Students will receive feedback from the quarterly BEC pretests from Cambridge ESOL. BEC is a business English Cambridge ESOL examination.
