Our school at Dunluce House is located on the seafront in Bray, just South of Dublin City Centre. Here we offer 21 bright and spacious classrooms in three adjoining Victorian buildings overlooking the Irish Sea. <br /><div>This is in addition to our new year round school in the heart of Dublin City Centre. A modern building with 16 classrooms all with interactive whiteboards, a stunning 4th floor social space and all within a 2 minute walk of Grafton Street. </div><div>At ATC we pride ourselves on providing academic excellence in a relaxed and friendly environment with a genuine international mix of students. </div><div>We also offer several residential accommodation options alongside our many carefully selected host families in both locations. </div><div>All of this is in addition to the most comprehensive range of Junior residential programmes in Ireland. </div><div>ATC is recognised by the Department of Education and Science in Ireland, a founding member of MEI / RELSA and a member of Quality English. </div>

English course syllabus consists of 20 hours per week and is designed to
improve the students’ understanding of the four skills of listening,

Intensive English course contains a further 6 hours
of English per week focusing on discourse structures and conversation. It

<p>Students from 10-17 years can study English on our junior programmes across Dublin and Ireland.</p><p>Classes are held for 15 or 20 hours per week with a maximum of 15 students per class.</p><p>In addition to the classes a full range of sports, recreational and cultural activities is provided.</p>

<p>ATC offers a teacher development programme for non-native speakers of English. A separate course is available for primary school teachers and secondary school teachers.</p><p>Each course is 2 weeks and is a 60 hour programme, 25 hours per week in the classroom and 5 hours per week cultural excursion.</p><p>Teacher may receive EU funding to participate in these courses. The programmes are listed on the Comenius / Grundtvig Training Database.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">ATC also offers a CELT course, this is a 120 hour English Language Teaching certificate course. The CELT is designed for those with little or no previous English language teaching experience who wish to gain an internationally recognised formal qualification<font color="#343434" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12px;line-height:24px;">.</span></font></p>

I spent a whole month at the atc school in Bray and enjoyed every day of my stay there. A really useful and stimulating experience!
My teachers, Joseph and Colette were friendly and very professional and made our lessons interesting and enjoyable.
The atmosphere at school was nice because I met people from all over the world; in my class there were 7 different nationalities.
I must say thank you to my host family because they made me feel like at home, Vyvienne was extremely kind .
I've appreciated everything about the school organisation ,teachers and staff, the course and the social programme.
And what about the location? It's fantastic, the school is in front of the sea and every day at the break I went to eat my snack on the beach.
