London Language Institute has been offering ESL and associated programs since 1998. LLI offers a 9 level ESL program that includes Academic Preparation and a pathway option for those students seeking university entrance. LLI is located in the beautiful city of London, Ontario which is close to both Toronto and Niagara Falls. Our modern facility boasts projection technology, multiple computer labs, private study areas and a great downtown location. LLI uses a mastery learning methodology of teaching that includes a maximum class size of 12 students. Students will have exposure to 3-5 different teachers per week. Our staff of 17 full time teachers are all TESL Canada qualified and have a vast amount of experience. LLI prides itself on having a multicultural diversity in our school with students from many different corners of the world. Our curriculum is broken into monthly blocks that allows for 12 intakes of students per year. Each level has an A and B companent that is 4-weeks in duration. LLI offers a variety of courser and programs that include ESL, University Preparation, Business courses, TESL Canada certification, vacation programs for both teens and adults, CAEL/TOEFL and IELTS preparation, math classes and specialized courses such as GMAT and GRE training. LLI offers full time ESL programs with monthly start dates throughout the year. We have a 7-level curriculum which ensures students are placed into appropriate levels with students of their ability. Our curriculum is broken into 4-week blocks and each level is 8 weeks in duration. Classes are kept to a maximum of 12 students ensuring students receive one-on-one attention from the teacher. Class hours are 23-30 hours per week. Students can complete our entire program in as little as 12 months.
This program is offered throughout the entire year with a continuous intake of students. Upon arrival a student will take a level assessment test that is used to place students in their appropriate classes.
LLI has hosted students from more than fifty different countries around the world. We recognize that cultural diversity is a key factor in our students’ successes, and ensure that every classroom has a mixture of cultural backgrounds and languages.
LLI also offers a foundation program (Pre-Beginner) for student who require assistance prior to entering Level 1. In addition, LLI offers an advanced Academic Program for student who have completed our main stream course ( AP2). Please note that students are only requited to complete our Academic Preparation 2 to meet university entrance standards. The advanced AP program is a post program opportunity.
