We welcome students from over 70 that want to study for one week or much longer stays, that are 16 years old and older, with no language requirements, all year long.
The school is located on the famous Place de la Comédie in the heart of Montpellier and we offer individualized follow ups before and during your stay.

This course is for students aged: 16-70
Accent Français offers a rigorous programme for students preparing for official examinations, such as the DELF, DALF, TCF, A-level, Irish Leaving Certificate, Chamber of Commerce tests, etc..
You will join a group of three at the most, three times a week, in order to prepare for the test you wish to take. The other students will have the same level as you and will be preparing for the same test.
Our French & Exam Preparation Course includes 26 lessons of French per week:
- Our Standard course (20 lessons)
- 6 lessons of exam preparation (3 session of 1,5 hours)
For these lessons, you will join a small group of students preparing for the same exam (three students maximum).
Age requirement: 16+

I had a really great time in the school, the teachers are very supportive and fun. The school makes you get in contact with so manu people from so many different places, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Also, they have an entertainment schedule wich week, so you can take cooking classes in French, visit the cities there are around Montpellier, and also get to know the culture and history with Jean-Paul, the turist guide of the school, he's the best. I want to say that goind to Accent Français was one of the best experiences I had in my life, when I got there I could only say "bonjour", but after six months I got completely fluent, besides that I made friendships with the teachers and lots of my classmates, friends that will stay forever even now that I'm back to Brazil. I have anlot of admiration for Accents Français' team, you won't regret, if you really want to speak and write good in french that's the place for you :)))

I LOVED my time at Accent Francais! I was so fortunate to have found it after initially attending another school in Montpellier. I found the teachers at Accent Francais to be so talented, CARING and fun! A very important combination of skill sets when you’re being thrown into an immersion language course! There were many differences between AF school and the other I attended. One of the big differences was how much better set up they were to encourage social interaction between students after classes. They have an entire area (indoor & outdoor) where students can “hang out” to eat lunch, get free tutoring to answer any additional questions they have and strike up friendships to practice what you’ve learned in class. Another difference was the fact they used technology to enhance the materials and the interaction between teachers and students. They had a program that we could access through apps on our phones to download materials from the class that day (including French audio), get access to homework assignments, etc. The other school didn’t have this either—limited to only paper. They also had great after school activities, a super fun goodbye party at the end of my 4 week stay and really engaged, lovely staff—starting with the school’s Director--to make things happen for us! Would highly recommend them! I’ve learned SO much. I’m back the US now, but planning my next opportunity to go back!

My experience at Accent Français was excellent! The courses were very well organized and included an appropriate amount of work. I learned a lot from my Oral and Written Expression and Methodology courses, and I felt prepared for the DFP exam from my Professional French course. The professors were really engaged and effective. The excursions and tour guides were also wonderful--I went to Arles, Les Baux-de-Provence, and Sommières.
Above all, I improved my French a lot. I would highly recommend coming here to study!

Excellent all round!
I fully recommend this school. From beginning to end it was well organised. All staff were positive and helpful. Each week had specific objectives and I enjoyed seeing my progression throughout the time I was there. Two teachers daily, teaching different topics, helped keep the class fresh and motivated. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and content of the courses and how conducive the atmosphere was to making friends. The teachers were incredibly friendly and made you feel comfortable to speak straight away, you could ask them anything and they would have class discussions about anything that interested you. I also appreciated how well your progression was recorded, there was a chart showing what lessons were coming up and the feedback was comprehensive and helpful. I could not recommend this school more, and this comes from someone who has done innumerable language classes in the past!

I had a very enjoyable time at accent francais, the lessons were very helpful and interesting. we covered complicated grammar, and had many interesting conversations in french on all sorts of topics. the teachers were friendly and helpful! and the school is in a very practical location!
