Good experience in Pace University

I come from Vietnam. It has been 5 months since I came to Pace University to study English program. I really had an awesome experience to study English in this school. The courses help me to improve all English skills. Located on Lower Manhattan is a good opportunity for me to meet many native people to practice communicating in English and learn American's lifestyle. Besides taking courses in class, I also join in some activities from ELI office, such as Lower Manhattan neighborhood Walking Tour, New York Yankees Game. The school is well-equipped with library, cafeteria and fitness center for students. I had some professors who are so nice and willing to help me. ELI in Pace University is really a good choice for those who want to improve English in New York City.

ELI; A Proper Investment for the Future

As an International student from Indonesia, I am really blessed to have the opportunity of studying at the English Language Institution of Pace University before I start my master of law. With the best quality of professors in the US, Pace has given me a wide range of knowledge that will be useful for my future. In addition, Eli has been beneficial for my master's preparation. I believe that with hard work and integrity, students will achieve their goals if they are willing to learn. I suggest that International students will learn a lot by studying at ELI of Pace University because it has many programs that improves every student's English skills.

Enjoying your time at ELI of Pace U

I strongly recommend the ELI program for students who want to improve their English efficiently and have a great experience in New York. Teachers of ELI are so patient to inspire student to express their views and give their professional advices in solving students’ practical English problems. I am so glad that I had Lydia’s pronunciation class on my first semester. When I pronounced wrongly, she always sat next to me, watching my mouth and teaching me how to speak correctly. Moreover, ELI’s fantastic activities really help student to adapt to the new life of New York as quickly as possible. I do want to recommend the volunteer program. This program not only gave us a chance to help people, but also gave us a chance to talk with people who are from different places, knowing their experiment. In short, enjoying your time at ELI of Pace, you will get a great memorable experience. PS: Don’t be shame to ask the staff of ELI question, they are so nice.

Pace University is a good choice

I want to say that all of the professors at ELI of Pace University are very nice. They can help you integrate into this new environment quickly even though your English is not good enough. Also, I really enjoy these times to study at Pace, which is full of many precious memories to me. Therefore, continuing to make memories is also the reason I study the MPA program here right now. :)

I totally recommend ELI

I'm a student from Vietnam. I've been studying with Pace University ELI for almost 1 year. Since I came to Japan 6 years ago for study, I had less chance to communicate in English; certainly, I became non-fluent in English and more and more grammatically incorrect in oral skills. I chose to join with Pace University ELI as an advice from my University International Office in Tokyo, Japan. I needed a place that I can study and improve all English skills quickly and effectively, and ELI has been responding everything. Besides experienced and enthusiastic teacher staff, the program content is very reasonably advanced, good facilities for study, and educational equipment that serve the teaching is extremely well-equipped and professional. Professors and ELI office staff are friendly and always eager to help students solve any problems in study and also in adapting to the new life in New York City. In addition, the ELI has many extracurricular activities for students to understand more about the history of New York City, people's life style, famous museum with free admission and guide; also, ELI has given us many good chances to see baseball game, basketball game and soccer game to popular Broadway show and Radio City Christmas Spectacular with a considerable cheaper price, for special group discount for ELI students. If I had a chance to choose a best place to study English, and to take the chance to change my future, New York city and Pace University ELI would be my good choices again.

It really helps

Since took part in Pace University ELI, I have suggested two of my friends from China to joined this program. It is because the program itself is really helpful and valuable. I started the program from a low level, and at that period of time, it was difficult for me to say even a whole sentence. Now, have gone through those high-queality courses which keep helping me to level up, I am able to communicate with confidence and completed high academic assgnments. In addition, another benefit I got is that I used this program to waive my TOFEL grade for the graduate application.

Except the courses section, there are two more reasons for me to make the suggestion. First, the ELI office will organize many different kinds of extracurricular activities, such as visiting museum, tvolunteer projects, festival party and celebration, Broadway show and various sports games. These diverse activities gave me the chance to know more about American cultures, and assisted me to get used to NYC. Second, this program allows us to use those resources of Pace University for free, such as the library, the language lab and the writing center. (ps:writing center is one of my favorate. There are specialize professors and American students. They can help to edit our writing, improve the technical and ability of writing.
