studied General EnglishProblem in get back my money about english for work that school inform that have on site but is not trueinform that have on site but is not true
My name is Thais and I was student of good hope studie in the period from 15,October 2018 until 9,November 2018 and I had contracted morning classes and business afternoon classes for 4 weeks.
When I arrived at school I was informed that did not have the business classes option, so I only had afternoon classes for 1 week. I have been contacting my agency (Experimento) and they said to me that the school agreed to give me back the value of 3 weeks about afternoon classes, but I didn't get the money back yet and is only pending the school give me back the money.
I had informed the school in the first week and They said for me: " You need to contact you agency" What???? I was there and they don't want to solve my problem.
I loved my experience in Cape Town and the school too, but because of this type of care I am not indicate the school for my friends. In my point of view is very important that school has a good administration to avoid problems as this one that cause stress in your customers.

Dear Thais,
You booked through an agent in your home country. The agent booked 4 weeks of Intensive course with us instead of 4 weeks of English for Work that you intended to do. On your arrival, when the mistake was discovered, we were not able to change you to English for Work as this course was not available on short notice. You agreed to do Intensive Course instead but informed us at the end of your first week that you do not want to continue with the Intensive course but have morning classes only. We agreed to do a refund for 3 weeks of afternoon classes and processed the refund immediately with your agent. As you booked through an agent, we are required by law to process the refund through your agent. Please contact your agent and you will receive the refund. Should you experience any problems, please contact us again and we will assist you. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope you enjoyed your stay in Cape Town.

studied General EnglishMy language stay
I've been studying in Cape Town at Good Hope Studies for 5 weeks and I'm really enjoying it. I am studying at the City Centre Campus. Good Hope Studies' teachers are well-trained and they are friendly and they made my learning progress way easier. The courses are created to be interesting and diverse. Besides learning important grammar and vocabulary, in my class we also had the opportunity to go out for some time and learn stuff about the city from the teacher. Another positive aspect is, how much importance teachers attached to effective communication instead of just focusing on grammar and new vocabulary. In addition, I could practise my newly acquired English skills with my host family which made my whole experience even more valuable. Besides the English, Cape Town is a beautiful city, where you can learn many new things and see nice stuff.

studied General EnglishSCHOOL REVIEW
I first saw the school by accident . I liked the school and the teaching system .
Somethings that need to be fixed in the school is that every single classroom should have an interactive white board which can be connected to the teachers laptop . The location of the school is perfect and the teachers are the best I have ever had .
Thank You ...

studied English Exam PreparationGood Hope Studies
Good Hope Studies provides students with the opportunity to combine learning English with a wide variety of activities in the beautiful city of Cape Town. I did the CAE preparation course, but the school offers a lot more courses to attend. The teachers and the rest of the staff are very helpful and friendly, which gave me a feeling of comfort from the very first day. Due to the small number of students (7 maximum) in one class, the students get all the attention required to complete their course succesfully. After two weeks I had already the feeling that I had improved my English. During the course we didn't only learn out of the course books, but we also parcticpated in some interesting excursions. Moreover, fun activities such as skydiving and shark cage diving are organised by the school almost every week. I really enjoyed my time at Good Hope Studies and the rest of my stay in Cape Town!

studied English Exam PreparationCAE course at Good Hope Studies
I was doing a CAE preparation course for three months at Good Hope Studies and I felt welcome from the very first day on. The staff is very friendly and helps you with any kind of problem, from booking flights to extending your visa (which can be complicated but that was not because of the school). The course itself was really good as well. I had a great teacher and was able to improve my English and felt prepared for the exams. The lessons were never boring, due to the interactive teaching style and we made some nice excursions. Additionally, they offer a wide range of activities which were always great fun. And Cape Town is an amazing place to stay, there is so much to do! It was an amazing experience and I can recommend Good Hope Studies!!
