As a Spanish learner it is also important to learn the numbers. You need them in a restaurant or in a shop (prices), but also when you talk about yourself (birthday, age, etc). So the best thing is to start with the first 100.

How can you learn them?
First of all, start with the numbers 1 – 15. There is no trick or something else: You just have to learn them.
After that you could take a look at the numbers for the multiples of ten: veinte, treinta, cuarenta, cincuenta, sesenta, setenta, ochenta and noventa. Here you can think about the clear relationship with smaller numbers, like cuatro – cuarenta and cinco – cincuenta.
And the rest is very easy:
For numbers from 16 to 19 you have to think like that: 10 + and + 7 = 17 (diez + y + siete = diez y siete).
For numbers above 20 it is nearly the same thing. Take the numbers fro the multiples of ten (20, 30, 40, …), an “and” and the second number: 40 + and + 3 = 43 (cuarenta + y + tres = cuarenta y tres); 60 + and + 8 = 68 (sesenta + y + ocho = sesenta y ocho).
And after understanding the workflow, play bingo, read phone numbers and use numbers as often as you can!
