Cádiz, the oldest city in Western Europe, is indeed privileged due to its mild climate, its wonderful beaches and its inhabitants, which are always warm and friendly and anxious to help the visitors. For this reason, it is very easy to feel at home in the city and enjoy a truly memorable stay. Spanish Students will discover in Cádiz the opportunity of becoming a part of the every day Andalusian life, for Cádiz is not on the most usual and commonplace tourist routes, a circumstance which makes it necessary for one to speak Spanish from the very first day.
Our school, GADIR, is located just five minutes from the centre of the city and from the beach. We offer a great variety of courses: Intensive or Super-Intensive of Spanish, Flamenco Dancing, Culture and Society, Spanish Literature, Commercial Spanish, Perfecting of the Language, and finally, the General Spanish Language Course, with a minimum duration of 8 weeks, which will make it possible for the student to feel fully integrated into Spanish life and become one more resident of the city.
In addition, our students can participate in many cultural and recreational activities in Cádiz and its surroundings: excursions, flamenco and salsa dance courses, the practicing of different sports and other Nature-related and outdoor activities. Students at Gadir can choose between a variety of accommodations: a flat shared with other students from the school, staying with a Spanish family or in a hotel.

This course consists of 4 classes of 45 minutes daily, where Spanish language is studied in a global way, providing a solid basis in Spanish grammar, vocabulary and communicative functions.
Four skills are developed in the Spanish lessons: listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing. The activities and exercises focus on the development of oral and written skills based on real language communications. This course allows students to improve their oral skills and reach a higher level of linguistic competence in a shorter time.

The Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) –Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language- is the official certificate that accredits an individual’s degree of competence and command of the Spanish Language. It is awarded by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education.
Our DELE Preparatory Courses cover all levels of DELE Exams, from complete beginner (level A1) to autonomous (level C2).
We offer different packages with which you can combine your Spanish Course with our DELE Preparatory classes during the same period, building an Spanish course adapted to your needs, availability and objectives:

This is a five lessons a day course for those pupils who already have a vast knowledge of Spanish grammar and syntax and who wish to expand upon it. The main objective of our training course is to offer non-native Spanish teachers the opportunity to update and perfect their knowledge of the Spanish language and to exchange experiences regarding methodological and pedagogical issues. At the same time, future teachers of Spanish can complete these courses and use them as preparation for their future professional career.
This course combines lexical, syntactical and semantic aspects of the Spanish language which present particular difficulty, with the study of colloquial Spanish, its turns of phrase, its idioms and expressions which are not found in grammar books.
This course is specifically designed for teachers in the field of junior and adult education. These courses may qualify for European Education Programme Erasmus +.
