Since 1997 till today Omilo has been successfully organizing courses in various locations in Greece. The modern Greek language courses take place in Athens, Nafplion and on the islands of Syros and Lefkada.
The informal and relaxed atmosphere of OMILO’s classes makes learning Greek an enjoyable and successful experience for all. Although our priority is providing top-quality Greek lessons, OMILO also aims to bring its students in direct contact with local customs, history and culture through various excursions and activities.

4 Week Group Course (Athens - Greece)
The 4-week Greek language programs are ideal for those living or working in Athens or for foreigners visiting Athens for a longer period. The courses give you the possibility to learn Greek at a regular and steady pace. We organize classes for all levels and they take place twice weekly, each time for 2,5 hours.
You will learn to communicate in Greek, improve your grammar, enlarge your vocabulary and at the same time you will acquire a better knowledge of contemporary Greek life.
OMILO offers six courses of 4 weeks between October and May.

1 or 2 week intensive group course (Athens, Nafplion, Lefkada island, Syros island - Greece )
An intensive course is ideal to boost your knowledge of the Greek language, while discovering the country. After completing an intensive program, you will feel much more self-confident to use the Greek language and be motivated to start communicating in Greek. The morning lessons focus on vocabulary and grammar while the afternoon activities are the perfect opportunity to put the theory into practice and to enjoy the beauty of Greece an its culture.

Learners of Modern Greek have the opportunity to obtain official recognition of their level of Greek language competence by sitting for an examination that is held annually in May, all over the world. OMILO offers tailor made private lesson which are focused on the preparation for the exams to obtain the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Greek. Together with the teacher the student will work on the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills that are required for the chosen exam level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2). Depending on the needs and requests of the student, we will organize a program that will prepare the student within the given time.

Using Skype, we work with you one-to-one. It is on online Greek private lesson with a native Greek teacher.
Lessons are planned to fit your Greek learning needs. They can include any part of Greek you need help with, grammar, writing, Greek vocabulary, and/or Greek pronunciation and speaking abilities.

The intensive summer courses are ideal to combine learning Greek with a holiday in a relaxing environment and beautiful setting, next to the beach. In the mornings you will enjoy Greek lessons at your level and in small groups, taught by very experienced teachers who will help you with the different aspects of the Greek language. In the afternoon, OMILO organizes several optional afternoon activities, which are a perfect way to practice speaking Greek and learn more about the Greek culture.
