About ESI UCAM Universidad Católica de Murcia
UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia was founded in 1996 and is a private university with a clear mission: to offer students the skills and knowledge to serve society, to contribute to the expansion of human knowledge throughout research as an integral part of the development of mankind, in addition to participating in the evangelical mission of the Catholic Church within the areas of culture and education.
UCAM’s School of Languages offers multiple regular and intensive language courses throughout the summer period (July-September) and the academic year. Students have the chance to learn or develop their knowledge of one of the following exciting languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese and German. As for our Spanish language classes, we are proud to offer a wide range of courses that target different student profiles (Interchange, Erasmus, pre-master, external or UCAM). There courses are available to anybody interested in learning a new language and their cultural context, if they are UCAM students or not. Nevertheless, interested parties must be 18 years or older.
The main goal of UCAM’s School of Languages is to provide our students with the necessary contents to advance one stipulated lever per each course or year, depending on the amount of hours per course. Our courses are developed in a way that they facilitate learning and teaching activities according to the European Common Framework Criteria concerning languages (A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2).
UCAM’s language courses are directed by certified teachers specialized in their respective mother tongue, including different activities which make learning both fun and interesting. The classes’ time schedules are different from course to course, depending on their duration and level. It is obligatory for students to attend at least 70% of their classes in order to be qualified for taking the final exam. When completing a course successfully, students will receive an official certificate.
In order to enhance team work activieties and learning outcomes, all classes usually have a limited number of students (between 8 and 15).

studied General SpanishUCAM's School of Languages
UCAM's School of Languages is a very good place to learn languages. I had the incredible opportunity to do Spanish classes there and I'm sure that it wouldn't be so amazing in another school. They have the best teachers and the classes are so interesting that I miss them until today. I'm brazilian and the classes not only made me learn Spanish, but also taught me about the culture of the country and how to live better there.

studied General SpanishSpanish course - Level B2
The advanced Spanish class at the UCAM was a really great experience and I'm happy that I got the opportunity to be part of this great international Erasmus class.
Our teacher did an overall great job. Apart from having fun together, eating, chatting about guys, and just living la vida loca, our profesora más bonita del mundo was so talented in explaining us the Spanish and latin-american culture with a smile on her face and the necessary background information we needed to understand the effects on culture and the present.
If you are interested in getting enrolled in a Spanish class that takes a look beyond theoratical Grammar rules and explains morever why the subjuntivo makes sense and should exist in all languages, you'll certainly make the right choice to get an insight to the passion of Spanish language at the UCAM.

studied General SpanishBest language course ever!
You know what's great about this course? You probably don't, that's why you are reading this. If you are pressed for time, let me keep it short: Everything!
The teacher is as helpful as she is competent and takes the time to assess the language skills and help improving it for every student individually. The classes are one of those rare times when fun and productivity are on equally high levels, everyone in the course made major steps forward in their Spanish skills, substantially more than we'd have anticipated in such a short duration. Fun games and activities helped improving quickly, every student got enough attention to actively improve his or her written and spoken Spanish in a relatively brief amount of time. I sincerely doubt there is a more efficient and yet fun way to improve your Spanish and I'm very happy I took this course and would do so again (if my Spanish wouldn't already be so good, thanks to this course). Gracias, Marta!

I was very good course in which I made a lot of international friends and reach a quite bi-lingual Spanish level.
Also Murcia it's very good place to live: sunny, 30min from beaches, all services...
