Xplore Camp Langley
About Xplore Camp Langley
We want to make sure that every element of coming to camp is fun, which is why we ensure that our lessons use an interactive teaching approach suitable to those with lower English ability.
Our English lessons at Camp Langley focus on games, images and music with lots of repetition to encourage retention and pronunciation. We find that this helps to improve our young students confidence when communicating with our staff and other children on-site.
Please note:
It is important that young children need to have a basic level of English before travelling abroad in order to have the best experience at camp.
We cannot guarantee we will have a member of staff who can speak a child’s native language and we want to avoid any children feeling isolated without means to communicate with our staff and other children at camp.
We recommend that children with no or very low English language come as part of a group with a group leader – please contact us for more information.
Activities
Part of the summer camp experience is getting to have lots of fun playing and laughing with new friends.
Our action packed multi-activity programme promises lots of challenging and exciting activities from quad biking to crate climbing, arts, crafts, sports and games.
All the activities help to support each child’s English language development through listening and communicating with others, as well as help build self-confidence.
