Xplore Camp Finborough
About Xplore Camp Finborough
The grounds of the school are impressive with acres of land and everything you could need for the ultimate outdoor adventure camp, including woodland containing our 12-metre high climbing and abseiling tower, a river for kayaking and raft building and one super quad biking track.
Just across the river, there is more woodland where we hold our bush craft sessions and evening campfires where everyone comes together to sing songs and roast marshmallows – a great way to practice English in a fun way!

Students will have a programme including English classes in the morning or afternoon and sports and adventure activities for the other half of the day.
To benefit the most from our English course at Finborough, we recommend that children have at least one year of English experience before coming to camp. We offer a range of levels suitable for age and ability of 10 to 14 year olds ranging from Preliminary (A1) to Intermediate (B1).
English lessons at Xplore are totally different to school; firstly our class sizes are small, with a maximum of 12 children per class this allows focused integration with other learners and the teacher.
We also make sure to utilise a range of teaching approaches suitable for a range of learners, this makes the classes really interactive and encourages learners to have fun whilst learning which can enhance development.
