English Language Lessons will be at ICE in Islington, one of London’s liveliest and most historical boroughs. Groups can either be taught together or integrated into existing international classes.

If the group has its own particular interest in a certain area of English language or would like to be taught separately, we can tailor lessons to your group’s requirements and/or concentrate on common areas of weakness.

We understand that it can be a very scary prospect for an experienced Geography teacher from Milan, for instance, to suddenly be required to deliver his/ her course in the English language. Islington Centre for English is here to make this process as simple as possible with a wide range of language levels to suit the needs of each subject teacher.

For teachers wishing to teach CLIL courses and make fastest possible progress, we suggest a Super Intensive Course of 30 hours per week (including break times) in which we mix General English with specific CLIL lessons. These are taught by our Director of Studies, Amanda Ricketts, who is also a Cambridge Examiner. Methodology is based on the Cambridge TKT exam.

NB: ICE will apply a very generous group discount on the General English element of your course.

Absolutely pitfull
