don Quijote Playa del Carmen is located in a lively area only a few minutes walking from the beach. The classrooms in our language school are set in typical “palapas” (a Spanish word of Mayan origin, meaning "pulpous leaf"). The open “palapas” with thatched roofs are right in the middle of the school’s big exotic garden with palm trees. There is a large main patio with a volleyball court, where students get together during the breaks. The construction of the school and classrooms makes the students feel in a special place of the Caribbean. There are 14 classrooms and a conference room (with TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo) where many of our activities are held. Our teachers are highly qualified and our staff is dedicated to making your stay as pleasant as possible.
The school provides wireless internet free of charge, or you can use the internet in one of the internet cafés near the school for a small charge. There are numerous shops, bars, restaurants and Internet cafés within walking distance of the school. Our school café offers a variety of snacks and drinks.

The Intensive Course is our standard program of 20 lessons per week of general Spanish. This means you will have 4 hours of class per day from Monday to Friday. The course is offered year-round at all 6 levels and is taught in mini groups with maximum 6 (8 in peak season) and average 3 students with the same proficiency level. Before the start of your language course, you will take a placement test which helps us to place you in the correct group. You will develop and improve all language skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking). Besides the language, you will also learn more about the culture of Latin America and the specific country where you are studying.
For students who want a more intensive course we offer our Super Intensive Course of 30 lessons per week. You will have 6 hours of class per day, consisting of the 20 lessons intensive course plus 2 lessons of extra focus on conversation, writing and revision of difficulties.

The Executive & Professional Course is a combined course of the 20 lessons intensive general Spanish in mini groups plus 15 individual classes in the afternoon to prepare students for the special requirements of professional life. Field-specific vocabulary, precise formulation and fluency in speech are the main goals of these courses. The individual classes are tailored to each student's specific needs. Students are encouraged to fine-tune the content of the course with their teachers so that it fully meets their needs.

For students who prefer a less intensive course we offer our Holiday Course in Mexico which consists of only 16 lessons per week. You will have 4 hours of class per day from Monday to Thursday, providing you with long weekends to travel or simply enjoy the beach. In 2015, for students who prefer a less intensive course we offer our Part Time Course in Mexico which consists of only 15 lessons per week. You will have 3 hours of class per day from Monday to Friday.
