About don Quijote Guanajuato
Learn the Spanish language in Guanajuato, a historical city with a rich academic heritage that provides the ideal setting for a Spanish school. Vibrant and beautiful, its atmosphere is similar to small yet stimulating cities in Spain like Granada and Salamanca.
Our Spanish school in Guanajuato is a comfortable and professional building for studying Spanish. Our students love to enjoy the city's beautiful climate on the outdoor patio and terrace, while the indoor facilities include a great multimedia room. The school is not directly in the city center, but Guanajuato is so easy to get around that everything of interest is still within walking distance.

I recently purchased a month of courses from this program. Upon arriving to Mexico the taxi service was 30 minutes late to the airport. The emergency contact number I was given was not answered despite several calls. The program reported 4 hours of group classes per day, which occurred the first 2 weeks. After the first 2 weeks, my class was split and I was told that my hours would now be 2 hours per day, despite this other student persisting at my same level and remaining in the school. The qualitity of the courses fluctuated wildly as the teachers changed weekly. The text/materials were poor. This was the opinion of several of the instructors also. Upon leaving, I was told that my taxi service may or may not show up and it was my reasonability to figure this out if the taxi service did not arrive. My homestay family was super friendly, but I had asked for a non-smoking household and several times noticed them smoking. If you are at all health conscious with respect to your diet, prepare yourself! Several sandwiches and cereals for breakfast. Rarely a unique dish. Overall, I loved the city, but would never recommend or return to this school.
