The University of Missouri - Kansas City is a fully accredited Research Intensive University. UMKC offers over 125 degree options at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Business Administration, Conservatory, Computer Science, MA TESOL, College of Arts & Sciences, Hospitality Studies and many others. 95% of UMKC's fulltime faculty hold Ph.D's or terminal degrees. UMKC has a total student population of approximately 15 000, including over 1000 international undergraduate and graduate students. The Applied Language Institute at UMKC offers intensive English as a Second Language classes for academic, professional and personal purposes. TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, preparation classes and ESL/professional development courses are also available. Semester-long and short-term programs can be designed to fit our students' needs. Social and cultural activities are part of our program. Housing on and off campus including a home-stay program can be arranged for groups or individual students.
