The TKT comprises three modules:

language teaching
Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning
process

All TKT candidates will be automatically entered for Module 1, and can then choose the number of additional TKT modules they wish to prepare for.
Candidates will prepare for the test(s) through input sessions and directed study, and will take them during the final week of their course.

Entry Requirements
Your level of English should be at least level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages to enable you to take part (this is

This is a Cambridge award for practising teachers of English which aims to enhance and develop candidates’ practical teaching skills, teaching knowledge and expertise and professional English language skills. Many
non-native speaker teachers study for this award but native speaker teachers of English may also do so.

The programme is divided into two modules:
Module One: Language for Teachers
Module Two: Teaching and Methodology

Module One on its own can be completed either in the UK, or in your home country. Module Two must be completed in your home country as the teaching context must be taken into account. Therefore Modules One and Two are often taken together in the home country.

My English course in Brighton

Last month I decided to learn English in England.
I chose to go to St. Giles International School in Brighton for two weeks.
St Giles Brighton has a wide choice of accommodation for students and I chose to stay at the St. Giles Residence in George Street.
The St. Giles George Street Residence is exclusive to students of St. Giles. This residence offers many single rooms, all with private bathrooms and is just 5 minutes walk from the school St Giles Brighton, the town center and the waterfront. Many of the options are within walking distance or are a short distance from the school by bus.
My English course was twenty-eight hours a week. I got up at 7:30 A.M., I had showered, I had breakfast and at nine o'clock began the lessons. Classes ended at 3:40 pm.
One of the biggest seaside cities in Britain, Brighton is a young city, with two universities and a rich cultural life.
Despite short time I improved my English.
