studied General EnglishHorrible experience with their host program
I attended this school back in 2002. They placed me with a horrible lady who left me to starve myself for a whole weekend. She didnt allow me to call my family and she was pretty abusive towards me. She lived in Ticehurst road.
After experience a horrible and pretty stressful weekend, the school decided to place me with Fred and his wife. They were so nice to me but at that time, I was too much traumatized by the first experience and I had to come back home after 2 weeks ( and I paid for a whole month course)
Needless to say that this greedy school didnt reimburse the money for the other 2 weeks missing ( even though it was their fault) even though they were clearly in breach of contract since my regime included all meals for the weekend and I was not provided with them. I lost a lof of money for their lack of revising with whom they were placing their students. That woman was horrible, she was abusive and she left me to starve myself for 2 whole days. She was holding the phone in her hand and, at the same time, she was shouting telling me that she would not allow me to pick up the phone call ( it was my mum calling her as crazy).
I would not recommend a school that allows these abusive behaviours. Place your money somewhere else.

studied General EnglishMy English course in Brighton
Last month I decided to learn English in England.
I chose to go to St. Giles International School in Brighton for two weeks.
St Giles Brighton has a wide choice of accommodation for students and I chose to stay at the St. Giles Residence in George Street.
The St. Giles George Street Residence is exclusive to students of St. Giles. This residence offers many single rooms, all with private bathrooms and is just 5 minutes walk from the school St Giles Brighton, the town center and the waterfront. Many of the options are within walking distance or are a short distance from the school by bus.
My English course was twenty-eight hours a week. I got up at 7:30 A.M., I had showered, I had breakfast and at nine o'clock began the lessons. Classes ended at 3:40 pm.
One of the biggest seaside cities in Britain, Brighton is a young city, with two universities and a rich cultural life.
Despite short time I improved my English.
