A place like a family

TESL centre is an amazing language school. Not only did it has an excellent English education system but also create a welcome, incredible English learning environment. Every weekends TESL organize interesting activities for students to experience Canada. Besides, teachers and staffs are friendly and nicely to help students practice English and support us. When I was in TESL I had a wonderful memory here and my English improve very fast. It is a good start to university and Canada and the world.

Another home

When I just came to Canada, there was no doubt that I was afraid of what I might face. However, Tesl became another home when I was studying there. It was not just about language, the more important was that you felt like one of them. Instructors there were so helpful and patient, they were not just my teachers, they were my family. I have to say, the time I spent in Tesl means a lot to me, this is a precious memory which would never fade away.

Lots of Opportunities

I was so lucky to have two excellent instructors while I was in TESL. Both my writing and speaking has improved a lot during the class which I definitely couldn't have achieved if I was in China. Besides the class time, TESL also provided many free tutor programs. I joined four programs while I was in TESL. I always can get help here. I still meet my English tutor weekly even though I already graduated from TESL a year back. Now, it's my turn to teach him Mandarin. It's not only about academic improvement, but about friendship building. I have also organized a project to help build connection between international and Canadian students. The project provided five workshops each semester.
Hope to see you in TESL.

One of the best choice I made

I was a TESL student from October 2012 to June 2013. I was so worried before I came to Canada, because my English ability as poor as my Spanish(Hola, Amiga! is the only one sentence i can speak in Spanish). I am not only worry about Language, but also my life here. Canada VS China are totally different world! The first moth for me is difficult due to I only able to speak some simple words, and I was lack of confidence to speak with native speaker. My English ability were improved rapidly during the period in TESL, all the stuff there like our very close friends or I can say they like my family member. Student will got a feeling that they are not alone, and it is very important for a foreigner study abroad. There are some activities in TESL on every Saturday, TESL will organize students get together to experience Canadian real lifestyle. I am a university student now, my assignments, essay and presentation are not troubles any more, cause I was trained by TESL. Really, I want to say "Thank you very much" to TESL. I am confidence to do anything(legal things) in Canada now, no matter dating, hangout with Canadian, Thanks TESL! That period when I was study there for me means a lot. Came to TESL and study here is one of my best choice I have ever made in my whole life!
