About Saginaw Valley State University
Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) is a public state University in a peaceful, beautiful location in Michigan, U.S.A. We have approximately 10,500 students including over 400 international students from over 30 countries. We offer over 80 programs of study at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and we have our own English Language Programs (ELP) on campus. We provide both "full" and "conditional" admissions through our own ELP. We have some of the highest accreditation available worldwide, such as AACSB accreditation for our Business and MBA programs, ABET for our Science and Engineering programs, and our ELP is an AIEP member. We offer very small class sizes (Average 24 student per undergraduate classroom and 12 students per Graduate classroom). Most of our instructors are Professors or have Phd./terminal degrees. Professors teach their courses directly, not through teaching assistants. Our Office of International Programs offers fast processing of applications for quick admissions responses, as well as a team of full-time International Student Advisers who speak Arabic, German, Chinese and English. Our on-campus housing has been voted the best in Michigan and provide full kitchens, all in walking distance from classrooms. Tuition is the most competitive in Michigan at $13,375 per academic year (24 credits) UG, and $14,578 for graduate (18 credits). International scholarships are available.
