Language Schools New Zealand is in a new facility in the center of town with balconies and incredible views all around. The atmosphere is warm and homely, like a big family. There are playing fields nearby and we regularly offer activities. Over winter (June - September) Queenstown is a skiing paradise and in summer it is world famous for activities and sightseeing. We recognize that learning English should enable students to further their life experiences. In that context we teach English for practical usage in an enjoyable and friendly environment. Teaching staff are fully qualified English teachers meeting the rigorous English New Zealand Standards with CELTA or TEFL qualifications. We have a great mix of nationalities to offer truly International English. General English Courses
We offer Full Time and Part Time General English Courses.
Duration: 1 - 48 weeks
- Morning lessons concentrate on grammatical correctness,vocabulary, speaking and listening skills as well as reading and writing. Many texts are used and students are encouraged to speak as much as possible.
- Afternoon lessons concentrate on spoken skills, conversation and discussion activities. Games, DVDs, internet and multi-media resources are used as well as situational activities. Speaking, speaking and more speaking!
Tuition: Full Time 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 15:15pm
Morning Part Time 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Afternoon Part Time 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 13:15pm - 15:15pm
English Exam Preparation

IELTS AND CAMBRIDGE EXAMS
The course introduces students to the requirements and format of the exams.
Students learn and practise reading, writing, speaking and listening for exams with exam practice papers.

STUDY & SKI/SNOWBOARD
Learn English at Language Schools New Zealand while you have fun skiing or snowboarding.
Language Schools New Zealand – Queenstown is very close to the main ski field:
- Coronet Peak (25 minutes by car)
Students can choose between two options:
5 days ski/snowboard option:
Study English: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm
Ski/Snowboard: Monday to Friday afternoon
3 days ski/snowboard option:
Study English: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm
Ski/Snowboard: 3 afternoons
Duration: 1- 12 weeks, June - September
Conditions:
Courses are dependent on numbers. Please check when enrolling.
Subject to snow/weather conditions.
If the mountain is closed (No refund is paid) as Study &Ski/Snoboard will be replaced by an alternative activity.
Fee includes lift tickets and transport with a staff member at the local ski field.
Gear and clothes rental and ski/snowboarding lessons can be arranged at extra cost.
