Langports is a family owned college, with two fantastic schools in Brisbane and Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. Langports offers a very high quality service to its students. Everything at Langports is designed to give each student the maximum benefit from their experience in Australia. Each school offers the UFO English program, which is unique in Australia and has proven to achieve great results. This program makes the student learning process efficient and enjoyable. Each centrally located campus has modern learning facilities, 19-20 large air-conditioned classrooms, computer centres - with wireless access throughout (free internet), student kitchens, and outdoor recreation facilities. The Brisbane school has an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium for student use free of charge, whilst the Gold Coast school is only 2 minutes walk to Surfers Paradise beach. Student accommodation is offered at 3 levels of Homestay, as well as Student Houses. Langports has their own activities department that can arrange almost anything a student could ask for, to assist them enjoy their time in Australia. East and West European, Central and South American, Asian and Middle Eastern students provide a great variety of cultures and experiences to the Langports family.

Students wishing to study at tertiary institutions need to take the IELTS exam but also need some of the skills more traditionally taught in an EAP program. Langports English for Academic Purposes (EAP) combines IELTS preparation and EAP to provide students with the best chance of success at university.

Business English Plus is a unique 10 week course that aims to improve students’ English language competency in a business and workplace context. This course not only focuses on language skills for business, but it also helps students prepare for two most internationally recognised business English proficiency certificates: Cambridge BEC and TOEIC.
English Pathway Programs

International students are required to do an IELTS test or other exams including Cambridge, TOEFL or Pearson as part of the entry requirements when applying to study at an Australian institution.
Students who do not wish to undertake an examination to meet the English language entry requirements, may also consider taking an accredited course at Langports that is recognised by some Australian institutions as a pathway program.
Langports courses – English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and UFO English are recognised by some Australia institutions as a preferred pathway program. Students may enter into the following institutions upon successful completion of Langports EAP course (or UFO English depending on the agreement) with results equivalent to achieve the institutions’ IELTS entry requirement.
