“ENGLISH LANGUAGE & EQUITATION COURSES FOR TEENAGERS 12-18 YEARS.” The Key Institute has been offering it’s specialist language and horse riding courses for teenagers for the past 20 years. The Key Institute is approved by the Irish Government Department of Education and by A.I.R.E. (Association of Irish Equestrian Establishments). THE LANGUAGE COURSE: The language classes run 5 days per week, Monday to Friday,3 hours per day. After testing on day 1, teenagers are placed in a group with their level of English language. The course contains lessons in grammar, vocabulary, listening and writing skills and conversation skills. All of the teachers have the T.E.F.L. qualifications, i.e., qualified to teach English as a foreign language. THE EQUITATION COURSE: The equitation course runs 6 days per week and 3 hours per day, and is suitable for all level of rider. The riding is a mix of lessons (indoor and outdoor), competitions, cross country jumping, outdoor riding to forests, mountains and riding on Atlantic beaches. Riders will also, under supervision and guidance, prepare their horses for riding, i.e. Grooming, brushing and putting on saddle and bridle etc.
