Oxford International has been helping students achieve their English language learning goals for over 25 years.
Take a chance to study in the heart of one of London's world heritage sites, with its own unique character, parks and historic buildings.
London Greenwich is our flagship language school. We provide a high standard of education for our students, with friendly and supportive teachers. The school boasts modern classrooms, some with interactive white boards, two computer suites and two social rooms.
The school is located just a few hundred metres away from the railway station. Greenwich is just 15 minutes by train to central London, so you can enjoy everything the capital city has to offer- from nightclubs and theatres to museums and galleries.
Studying a General English course, you will increase your vocabulary, enhance your grammar, improve your written work and strengthen your reading skills. To achieve this, our General English courses use a variety of teaching methodologies that aim to develop both fluency and accuracy in the use of the language. Our aim is to increase your confidence and ability to use real English in the outside world. Therefore, our team of qualified and enthusiastic teachers primarily take a communicative approach in class.
If you are preparing to use your English skills in a business or work environment, this business English course will help you prepare for real-life practical situations such as writing letters, reports and emails; telephoning; participating in meetings and presentations; and dealing with different cultures. This business English course will also help you to write your CV and job applications and can include Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) exam preparation.
The IELTS examination is fast becoming the leading standardised test for English Language globally and the English proficiency test for University admissions in the UK. Our IELTS course aims to prepare students with the skills and strategies needed to undertake the IELTS test with confidence and to succeed in the IELTS examination. We usually have a continuous enrolment policy, this means students can start any Monday, however we would strongly advise to check availability with the school before booking an exam course. Also entry onto these courses is dependent on passing the school pre-test to a sufficient level
Our English+ courses give you the opportunity to study a 15 or 20 hour morning course at UIC English Oxford and then combine these with any specialist subject at Oxford Tutorial College. This can be organised from 1 hour to 15 hours a week.
