IS Aix-en-Provence is an international language institute with 40 years of experience in high quality training in French for adults. The major part of our students learn French for professional reasons, but others are just attracted by our fantastic location in the heart of Provence ideal for discovering this beautiful region with its historical sites of great interest, its wines, food, craft and culture and its mild climate. Our weekly optional activities programme offers numerous possibilities: excursions, cooking, wine-tasting, social activities etc. Our programme includes general, executive, examination and teachers courses as well as language courses combined with discovery, gastronomy, wine, painting, golf, rambling and sailing. Students can stay from 1 to 36 weeks, depending on the starting level and the combination of courses chosen. The long term courses prepare for the DELF diploma, and IS Aix-en-Provence is examination centre for the TCF. Classes are in small groups (max. 10) during the whole year with a focus on oral communication. We also offer tailor-made courses for closed groups (juniors, school-groups, universities, professionals) We offer a wide range of accommodation possibilities, such as homestay (1/2-board, Bed & Breakfast or self-catering), student residencies, short time rental apartments and hotels. IS Aix-en-Provence is certified with the official “French Foreign Language Quality” label obtaining for the second time 3 stars (highest ranking) on each of the 5 criteria audited (Reception & Services, Premises & Equipment, Teaching staff, Courses, Management). We are also a member of IALC and EAQUALS.
These French courses have been designed for adults of all levels who need to communicate with greater ease for personal or professional reasons. Our qualified teachers lead small international groups in a friendly and dynamic manner which encourages intercultural exchanges.
