About Intensa Language Institute
Intensa began offering intensive Spanish and English language programs in 1980. The founders, both educators by profession, recognized a felt need among students, not met by existing institutions, to be able to converse as functional bilinguals in Spanish and English. Intensa’s innovative methodology, that focuses on maximizing the learner’s conversational practice while in class, has been successfully satisfying that need for more than 35 years.
Currently Intensa has four sites located in the Central Valley’s major urban centers: two in San José and one in Heredia and Alajuela. The institute offers Spanish programs for individuals or groups or a combination of both, programs that are customized along professional lines and programs that combine learning and adventure.
