About American Language Academy

We are a nationally accredited Intensive English Language institute. We offers 4 center locations: 1) Greensboro, NC, 2) LMU, Tenn., 3) Plantation Fla., and 4) Garden Grove, Calif. All are safe and have modern, convenient classroom facilities with free computers and WiFi available. We offer American family home stays and independent apartments as housing options. Our teachers are native speakers with advance degrees in TESOL/English and minimum of 3 years experience teaching adult ESL. The curriculum was designed by famous linguistic experts and we offer 7 levels of proficiency for student placement. Tuition and fees are very affordable and we offer students financial discounts if they qualify. There are 5 term session each year. Full time student attend class Monday to Friday for a total of 22 hours per week. Each level is 9 weeks long. When student enrolls they receive a conditional letters of acceptance from one of 22 American partner universities. Graduates from ALA Level 5 are accepted with NO TOEFL test requirement. Our Student Service staff offers free counseling for students help them select the right college program.
ALA offers a variety of courses through out the year with open registration. Instruction is delivered in face to face classroom or via ALA advanced SKY campus virtual classroom.
