About Inlingua - Edinburgh
We are a British Council accredited language centre located in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh. We offer a variety of courses in General and Business English, Exam Preparation, Teacher Training and Work Placements.
All of our courses are led by qualified, native-speakers in small groups with a maximum of 10 students per class. We focus on speaking the language as much as possible while integrating skills in reading, writing and listening into the lesson.
We are pleased to offer a professional yet friendly environment where every student is known by name, creating an enjoyable and effective learning experience. Each member of our administration team is multilingual with a strong language learning/teaching background and a passion for the field.
We also provide an exciting and mostly free social programme as well as free tea, coffee and Wi-Fi in our comfortable student lounge.

Student can join our General English courses every Monday. they can choose our Half-Day Group course from 930-1245 or our Full-Day course by studying one of our afternoon options from 135-1515. Our maximum group size for all group courses is 10 students.

We are offering two options:
Mini Group- this option is designed for professionals and business people who would like to work in a small groups of 4 students max. This course is ideal for clients who wish to benefit from peer learning through group conversation and comprehension whilst having plenty of access to a trainer. It is designed to give the client the skills to communicate effectively in English and to improve their confidence when working in business environment.
One-to-One- this course is designed for those people who need to make fast progress in a short time, each Business English course is tailored made and designed to carter for specific needs and objectives.
We can also combine this option with other courses.

We offer refresher courses for teachers of English as a foreign language. Many teachers undertake our courses with an Erasmus + Sponsorship. Generally classes consist of 6 teachers with a maximum of 10.

I went throught a very intense and enriching one-week cultural and linguistic immersión in Inlingua Edinburgh. The school is located in a very charming traditional bulding in the beautiful Newtown only a stone's throw from the heart of the city where all the museums and other sites of cultural interest are. I definitely recommend Inlingua for a good and holistic english immersion in the city.

Inlingua Edinburgh is perfectly located if you want to discover the city after your classes. Everyday there is a tour to do with a teacher in order to get to know the city and its lovely history places.
The staff and the teachers are great, always wanting to help and with plenty of interesting activities to boost your English. I joined the course for the Advanced exam and I am very thankful for all the practice we did to pass it.
I would definitely recommend this school :-)

I attended the language school inLingua for 3 weeks, I was very satisfied with the quality of the course and the lecturers. Although I was studying 6 hours a day, I was never bored. Lessons were always very varied and interesting. The individual teachers were alternating in the middle of the week so we could always listen to another accent. They were all very nice and helped us when we did not understand something. I also welcomed out-of-school activities, walks through the city, visits to the theatres, museums and pubs accompanied by a lecturer. It was great, we could get to know better with the other students and talk from the morning to the evening. I can recommend the inLingua school in beautiful Edinburgh to everyone.

J'ai suivi des cours pendant un mois à inlingua edinburgh et je recommande fortement ! Les effectifs réduits dans chaque classe sont un gage de qualité pour chaque leçon et cela permet aux professeurs de se soucier de chaque étudiant et facilite les interactions en général. En plus, l'organisation de l'école fait que l'on rencontre forcément plein de gens d'horizons différents, et les activités extra scolaires organisées tous les jours par l'école renforcent également ce rapprochement entre étudiants. Bref, que de bons souvenirs et de positif qui ressortent de cette expérience !
