About IH Kharkiv
As a Russian-speaking city Kharkiv provides exellent opportunities for foreign students to study Russian. We offer General Intensive Course (2 – 4 weeks); General Course (1 – 10 months); General Russian and Sightseeing (1 or more weeks); Russian for Business (1 or more weeks). The course programmes are very flexible and can be adapted to any student’s needs on a 2 week notice. All the teachers are highly qualified Russian native speakers. All the courses are offered at a full range of proficiency levels, from Elementary to Advanced with extra private lessons available. Hotel or host family self-catering accommodation is arranged, as well as meetings with local business people and excursions around the city and to other Ukrainian cities.
Kharkiv is the second biggest city in Ukraine, and about 90 % of people in this city are native speakers of Russian. This fact made it quite natural for us to open the Russian Language Department in our centre.
