Review first school days

The Pilot announced “please put your seatbelts on, we will landing in a few minutes”. After a relaxed flight, the driver from the Ih school brought me from the airport to my lovely host family. What a cool driver he greeted me with the typical African serenity and a big smile.
I was here, in my flat, for the next three months. My new family received me with a big hug. After a cool evening, it was great to sleep in a big bed, after 24 hours of not much sleep, what a good feeling. First day in my new country, my first school day to study english in Cape Town. The school, called International House, yes, and it`s very international, I will write more about this later in this report.
The school is in sea point, a very safe place, near the beach. For me, from Switzerland, a special and absolutely amazing place. You can enjoy your break on the balcony on the roof from the school. I could be here the whole day but i`m not just here to enjoy the view and have a break!
Back to school… I was not the only student who had his first school day. To start the day we had an exam to test our level. I was pleased, intermediate level for me, the lessons will start tomorrow. After a short tour of the school with the secretaries, it was lunchtime. The first school day was already finished.

Second day 9 o clock in the classroom after an introduction round with the students the lesson started. Now I`m in the third week at the school, I will give you a little review.
The first few days weren`t easy for me, because my vocabulary wasn`t good, but I built a friendship with the google translator, a very helpful gadget.
Certainly you can ask your teacher, or the secretaries for help if you need some. I only have school in the morning, perfect to visit the city in the afternoon. It doesn`t get boring, the school offers you many things to do, for example visiting the townships or hiking to the top of lions head. I wrote before about the name “International”. Students from all around the world are here; Brazil, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Congo for example. I have made some good friends already in Cape Town. The best, in the end, is that you can`t speak your language from your home country, because the other people here don`t understand you, and think “what the hell does he want from me?”.
For me the perfect way to learn English.

One serious problem.

Last year, me and my friend tried to extend our visa to improve our language and to enjoy spending time in Cape Town and South Africa in general.

But the didn't allow for us and we couldn't stay more.

My friends now in New Zealand، because they get a 9 month visa to study English.

A lot of my friends change their destination to another country because of visa issues.

Other wise the school is perfect and the city is the best.
