Founded in the early 1980's, the American Lebanese Language Center (ALLC) has played a prominent role in adult education in Lebanon. Our centers throughout Lebanon offer students the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of computer and language courses. ALLC offers students the opportunity to learn practical and comprehensive skills, and to enrich and expand their existing knowledge. This course is for students aged: 16-70

Levels: Advanced, Intermediate, Basic

Spoken Arabic (Lebanese dialect) and Modern Standard Arabic are generally offered at 8 major levels ranging from Beginner to Proficiency. These courses have varied time schedules and are usually offered two or three times per week. They run over a period of two or three months and we offer 4 to 5 sessions per year. Our courses correspond to the 8 International House levels and the 6 Common European Framework levels A1 to C2.

Placement tests are adminstered to prospective students to determine their level (in the selected language).
Transcripts and grades are provided to trainees at the end of each course.
Certificates of Completion are provided upon successful completion of each level and cite both IH and CEF levels.
Our instructors are certified with years of teaching experience. Through the use of the most up-to-date methods and books, they make sure that all courses are well structured and enjoyable. Lessons are always planned to be stimulating and to maximize your language ability.
