In 2016, the F+U Academy of Languages has been awarded the StudyTravel Star Award as the ST Star German Language School 2016 as well as the iStudy Award als World Language School of the Year – Germany.
Thanks to its internationality, the school offers a unique opportunity to get to know people and their various languages and cultures, and to practice freshly acquired language skills, whether during break-time conversations in the corridors or in the school’s atrium, or while participating in the cultural and sporting activities offered everyday.
F+U Academy of Languages is situated in the middle of the university city’s historic centre. The school building offers fantastic views of the Old Town, the Castle and into the Neckar river valley. With 70 multimedia-equipped classrooms (up to 85 in summer), 3 Internet rooms with 55 PCs, free internet access and Wi-Fi, and a central location in Heidelberg, the F+U Academy of Languages offers everything to ensure that the language learning experience in Heidelberg is an exceptional one.

In the international junior programme, children and teenagers from all over the world take part in German or English courses every summer to gain language proficiency through playful learning and a multi-layered cultural, sport and free-time activities programme in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany.
Several halls of residence with around 500 rooms, a boarding school, apartments, a school-owned hotel and several host families offer year-round accommodation to learners arriving from all over the world.
