Teacher Immersion Course:
What is Teacher Immersion?
The Experience English Teacher Immersion course is designed for teachers whose native language is not English. It helps you to gain confidence in using the English language, understand current teaching methodology and evaluate resources critically, as well as allowing you to share ideas with teachers from other countries and your course tutors.

The course is designed to be flexible, and can be adapted accordingly to meet the specific needs of the course participants. Closed groups of teachers travelling together can be catered for at any time of the year.

Who is it for?
Suitable for students aged 16+, the Teacher Immersion course is perfect for:

teachers working in a variety of teaching contexts from primary to university
English language teachers to specialist subject teachers
teachers of curriculum subjects being taught through the medium of English as a second or third language
English language teachers for whom English is not a first language
teachers working towards a further teacher training qualification such as TKT or CELTA
We will help you to:

gain confidence in using the English language
apply current methodology to your own teaching context
evaluate and explore resources and materials critically
refine your knowledge of key teaching concepts and ways to teach them
update your knowledge of contemporary issues in teaching methodology
share ideas and experience with teachers from other countries and course tutors
