We are a medium-sized, family-run school in Paignton, Torbay, Devon - on the English Riviera. The school was founded by Brian Hawthorne in 1971. The school is housed in two Victorian villas, 50 metres apart, five minutes from the centre of Paignton and five minutes from the sea. We specialise in all year-round general English, over fifty courses and exam preparation, teachers', business and English plus courses - English and Golf, English and Walking, English and Surfing. In the summer we run an adult centre and a teenager centre in the two separate buildings. We also run a successful residential centre in Taunton for 5 weeks in July.
