Essential Preparation for University
The Concorde International University Course is NOT a standard English course. As well as general language improvement, we understand that students going on to higher education also need academic and research skills.
The aim of our University Course is to ensure that students are fully prepared, both linguistically and psychologically, for entry onto an Undergraduate or Masters programme in England and that they are therefore in a position to obtain maximum benefit from their studies. The courses have been divided into two main areas of study: Academic Skills Development and Language Development (including, but not limited to, IELTS preparation).
Who is this for Students wishing to enter a British university
Class Size: Generally 8-10 students, maximum 12 students
Hours: 25hrs per week including IELTS preparation
Entry Requirements Undergraduate - Certificate of completion of high school education in the country of origin.
Masters - Successful completion of a first degree in the subject of study or a related subject at a recognised university in the country of origin.

Undergraduate EAP
This course will give students a solid foundation in study and research skills to prepare them for entry onto a degree programme in the Arts, Humanities, or Sciences. The focus is on building the academic and linguistic skills necessary for your University career.
Masters EAP
This course allows students to develop the skills necessary to succeed at postgraduate level. It develops the academic study methods that are vital in preparation for masters programmes in the UK. Our Business English courses are for professionals, managers and students who either already use English in their work or wish to improve their career prospects by developing further their English language skills. The minimum age required for these courses is 21.

Interpreting graphs and charts and diagrams

This course offers 15 or 25 hours of classes per week for adults aged 21+. An intensive modular programme with starting dates every Monday in the summer only.
The course syllabus is designed to meet students' specific needs. It includes practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing, extending your vocabulary and helping you to improve your pronunciation.
