About CEL San Diego

College of English Language was established in San Diego in 1981 and is is dedicated to providing high-quality language education for foreign learners. For more than two decades, we have dedicated ourselves to providing high-quality English language programs in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The English courses at CEL have been designed especially for international students. The team at CEL is capable of dealing with language students needs, whether it be exam preparation, to General English learning, or to booking a weekend trip to Las Vegas, Los Angeles or San Francisco. CEL is in the heart of downtown San Diego, adjacent to the historic and exciting Gas Lamp Quarter. Shopping, outdoor dining, and dancing are just around the corner. Additionally, our school is within walking distance of public transportation stops, the Broadway Pier, the San Diego Padres baseball stadium, and many other local attractions. Our teachers are educated professionals who strive for excellence in themselves and in their students. All of the teachers on staff have university degrees in teaching languages and they have many years of classroom teaching experience which means that they make classes informative as well as interesting and fun. CEL is certified to issue I-20 student visas, and we welcome students from all across the globe to participate in our English language programs.
